Spring Tune Up Tips from Dave
I have been a Daigle Oil employee for thirty-one years and my one recommendation to each of our heating customers is “get your heating equipment tuned-up every year.” I cannot emphasize this enough and have seen some costly scenarios that could have been avoided. Your oil-fired system works hard all winter long and can get plugged with ash and soot. This debris needs to be cleaned. And, since your boiler or furnace operates mechanically with moving parts and pieces, these need to be cleaned, inspected and adjusted each year to keep your system safe, efficient and reliable.
Please be sure to schedule your tune-up for this is the best time to do so after a long winter. You can trust our team of certified and experienced technicians who are trained to service both OIL and PROPANE fired systems.
One final recommendation is to consider enrolling in a DOC Home Comfort Plan to protect your heating equipment. A tune-up is included in our plans. Should you want details about what is included in a tune-up or a service contract plan, please call your local DOC office or visit www.daigleoil.com.
I am available as well to answer any questions you may have.
