DOC operates seven metered remote fueling stations strategically located throughout the North Maine Woods to help trucking and logging businesses keep their operations moving efficiently.
A DOC Charge Card is required for fuel purchases and is accepted at all remote fueling locations except Clayton Lake and Saint Zachary, where a key is required for access. All locations offer on-road diesel, with the exception of Clayton Lake, which provides off-road diesel.

On-road diesel is available at DOC’s Place locations in Fort Kent, Caribou, Caribou Diesel Facility, Presque Isle, Houlton (Grange Street), Houlton I-95, and Bangor.
Yes, diesel can be purchased 24/7 at certain locations with a proprietary DOC Card. Some remote sites do not accept standard credit cards, so setting up DOC Card access is important.

Daigle Oil’s proprietary DOC Charge Card is needed to access on road diesel at our Portage, Ashland, Saint Pamphille, Saint Aurelie, and Saint Juste remote sites. Saint Zachary requires key access only. Clayton Lake is key access for off-road diesel and gasoline.
Clayton Lake provides key access for off-road diesel and gasoline (no on-road diesel at that location).

The DOC Charge Card is Daigle Oil’s proprietary card used to purchase fuel at any DOC’s Place motor fuel location and at any remote fueling depot throughout the North Maine woods. The card comes with an optional fleet report, which tracks purchases by card, can be PIN protected and is convenient in reducing cash handling and reimbursement headaches.
Daigle Oil does not charge a fee for use of the card. Card issuance is subject to credit approval and payment terms.
