Payment Plans FAQs
DOC offers the Budget CAP Payment Plan, Equal Pay Plan, Pre-Pay Fixed Plan, and Propane Plans. Each plan is designed to help customers budget their annual heating costs in a different way.
The Budget CAP Plan and Equal Pay Plan are designed around monthly payments. The Budget CAP Plan includes a price protection feature. The Equal Pay Plan is based on an estimate and is not price protected. DOC can help you choose based on your priorities.
The Budget CAP Plan provides a capped price for deliveries and includes downside protection if prices fall below the capped price.
Yes. All four plans apply to customers using either heating oil or propane. The only difference is customers using propane can opt for a 1, 2 or 3 year plan.
Enrollment opens in June and customers can enroll anytime from June through October.
Yes. Automatic delivery takes the guesswork out of when fuel is needed next. Our team monitors fuel usage and weather patterns to ensure your home or business never runs out. It’s convenient, reliable, and helps you avoid last-minute orders or emergency deliveries.
Some plans require credit approval and may require your account to be in good standing. DOC will confirm eligibility during enrollment.

Plans typically run through May. Depending on the plan, there may be a settlement statement or a contract expiration date. DOC can explain how your plan ends and what to expect.
Yes. DOC offers Direct Bill Pay for recurring payments.
