Q: Do you have a minimum delivery?
A:
Yes. We have a 100 gallon minimum delivery requirement.

Q: Does Daigle Oil Company sell gift certificates?
A: Yes we do. Gift certificates are available at any of our heating oil offices and may be redeemed for purchases of heating oil, kerosene and other heating related products. We also have Cash Cards available for use at our Gulf and Citgo DOC’s PLACE service stations.

Q: Can I make payments at any one of your Locations?
A: You can make payments at any heating oil office or DOC's PLACE service station.

Q: How do I become a Customer?
A:
You can stop by any one of our heating oil offices and fill out an account application or click here to apply online.

Q: How does Automatic Delivery work and how do you know when to fill my tank?
A:
The first delivery is based on the information provided to us by you. If you want a fill-up right away we'll be there. After your initial delivery, we will set your account with a burning rate that will ensure you will not run out of product. Once we have made 3 winter deliveries our system is able to determine an accurate burning rate. At this point our system will forecast when you are due for oil based on the weather, which in the oil industry is referred to as heating degree days.

Q: How do I get on Automatic delivery?
A:
If you are already a credit approved customer, simply call your local heating oil office and speak to one of our friendly customer service representatives and they will be happy to set you up. If you are not credit approved you simply need to apply for credit or click here to apply online. The account application does have an area where you can request to be placed on automatic delivery if approved for credit.

Q: How long do I have to pay for a delivery?
A:
Once you have gone through the credit application process, your terms will be disclosed to you at that time. If you prefer not to apply for credit, payment is due prior to delivery.

Q: Do you have any products to protect our homes while we are away for the winter.
A:
Yes. We have two products available. We have the winter watchman and freeze alarms.
Winter Watchman:
With a Winter Watchman you can provide your neighbor with an easy, convenient way to make absolutely sure your house is warm while you're away. The Winter Watchman eliminates the chore of daily trips into your house. Instead your neighbor just looks for a light in your window. If something should happen and the indoor temperature falls, the Winter Watchman turns on a lamp to signal your neighbor. Then, corrective action can be taken before freeze-up occurs. As long as your neighbor sees no light your house is warm.
Intermediate Freeze Alarm:
The Intermediate Freeze Alarm automatically calls up to three phone numbers when the temperature falls below a customer-determined temperature set-point. It also calls if the power fails for a period of time or if the back-up battery requires replacing. You can remotely check the temperature, power status and battery voltage by calling your Freeze Alarm from any phone in the world. The Freeze Alarm uses a series of menu options that are accessible by pressing the buttons on your Touch-Tone phone. Other models are available depending on the application.
