Daigle Oil Company’s twelve month HOME COMFORT PLANS are a simple way for you to be assured that your heating system is operating efficiently and in a worry free manner. It also means you get service backed by trained heating service specialists licensed to operate in Maine.

LABOR PROVIDED PLUS
- Annual burner tune-up of all gun type power burners, including the services listed below, plus repair or replacement of parts listed which become worn or defective through normal oil burner use. For one heating appliance, one zone.
- Inspect and clean electrodes as needed.
- Replace nozzles.
- Test transformer and terminals.
- Inspect ignition cables, replace if needed.
- Inspect and clean combustion chamber, if needed.
- Check and adjust pump pressure when conditions indicate it is warranted.
- Check setting on all operating controls, adjust when necessary and check safety control timing.
- Check and clean thermostat, if needed.
- Clean helix and stack control.
- Inspect burner, tank and oil line for proper connections
- Lubricate motor bearings of burner, blower and circulator motor when possible.
- Adjustment of fire to proper combustion, including: draft over fire, at breech, smoke number, stack temperature, CO2 level and combined efficiency.
- Cleaning of boiler or furnace by vacuum.
- Check and clean flue pipe.
- Flush low water cut-off (no responsibility will be assumed for failure of this control). This control should be flushed regularly by owner to prevent sediment from interrupting its proper operation (steam only).
- Provide emergency burner service, if required, due to failure of proper operations of burner or controls with the following exceptions (in which case the customer shall pay our established hourly rate):
- ~Lack of oil, when the customer does not use Daigle Oil Company’s automatic delivery service.
- ~Failure of customer to maintain proper boiler water level (steam only).
- ~Switches found in the off position.

Heat exchanger or furnace itself, boiler block, sections thereof, or boiler itself, combustion chambers, ducts, registers, radiation, piping, zone dampers, zone valves or any multiple zoning equipment. Any water related item such as water feeders, flow control valves, relief valves, expansion tanks, hand valves, air vents, except one circulator bearing assembly. Any equipment related to or governing domestic hot water supply. Oil storage tank, fill and vent pipes, gauge, vent alarm and plugs. Clock thermostats, system selector thermostats, timers, water modulating controls, humidifiers, electronic air cleaners, smoke pipe, prefab/masonry chimneys or power venters.
PARTS AND LABOR “NOT” PROVIDED WITH DOC’S DIAMOND PLAN
Heat exchanger or furnace itself, boiler block, sections thereof, or boiler itself, combustion chambers, ducts, registers, radiation, piping, zone dampers or any multiple zoning equipment. Hand valves except one circulator bearing assembly. Oil storage tank, fill and vent pipes, gauge, vent alarm and plugs. Clock thermostats, system selector thermostats, timers, water modulating controls, humidifiers, electronic air cleaners, prefab/masonry chimneys or power venters.
GENERAL CONDITIONS
- Contracts are available only to persons who purchase their entire year’s fuel oil supply from Daigle Oil Company.
- Benefits hereunder are not extended to income producing or business properties.
- All equipment is to be inspected and approved by one of our authorized servicemen before the contract will be issued.
- Benefits are limited to one oil-burning appliance.
- Benefits are provided only for those items specifically listed.
- All contracts are self-renewable from year to year unless either party gives prior notice of cancellation.
- All services are for normal usage and policies do not protect against floods, fires or other acts of God.
- Draining of expansion tanks, power failures, lightning, fuel storage tanks, oil lines and valves, ductwork, piping and smoke pipe are not covered under this contract.
- We are equipped to provide emergency service; however, we cannot be liable for any delay or failure to supply service or material because of conditions beyond our control. In no event shall we be liable for any damages or injury.
- Payment is due within 30 days of billing. A contract is immediately canceled if payment is past due.
- This contract shall be null and void should work be performed on the covered oil-burning appliance by the homeowner or by persons other than Daigle Oil Company service technicians.
